The box contains a variety of food and household items of necessities. Living Well strives to provide the best quantity and quality of items with the given funds. It is our goal to provide a variety of products from month to month which volition supplement the senior's food upkeep; thus assuasive the senior to reduce what they are spending on such items.
Applications for Living Well's Senior Supplemental Box Program are accepted yr-round. The number of program participants is based on bachelor funding. History
Living Well in Wabash Canton CoA, Inc. began food distribution during the cheese giveaway days in the 1980'southward. After those early days of the government article program, the food distribution transitioned from an entitlement program based on age to a need-based programme without age restrictions. With the transition, Living Well in Wabash County CoA, Inc. continued to distribute the regime bolt, which requires that the federal and state resources be matched by local resources.
The Community Cupboard Food Pantry at the Winchester Centre has been able to come across growing needs through partnerships with the help of generous donors, Second Harvest Nutrient Bank of E Central Indiana, Walmart, Kroger, Bob Evans, and Midwest Poultry.
